Road Trip Spotter

A relaxing car-spotting game, using pictures from a U.S. road trip I took fifteen years ago. Type the make and model and guess the state where the photo was taken.

Note - the first version of the game had the original cars, but the lighting condition and occasional blurriness of the photos made it impossible to guess many the vehicles at times. So I modified the images using AI, while keeping the base pics and spirit of the game.

•Rare colors score more (white = 10, green/brown = 40, anything weird = 60)

•Naming the make multiplies × 1.5; make + model × 2.5

•Year within ±2 = +15 bonus points

•Walmart / U-Haul / school bus / state trooper rounds = flat bonus, no naming

•Right state = ×2 · neighbor / within 200 mi = ×0.66 · far = ×0.33

Cars only; skip guessing the U.S. state

Pick this to focus just on the cars. Great for kids who might have trouble identifying U.S. landscapes.
